Community Crossroads Center (CCC) offers family rooms. What is different about these rooms is that a family can stay together at night, with no limitation to the number of family members per room. Most homeless shelters make the families separate at night. For example, if a father and daughter check in together, in most shelters the father would go into the male side and his daughter would go to the female side during the night. Especially in hardships, families need to be together. To have a shelter in Greenville, North Carolina that allows families to stay together at night is something extraordinary that Community Crossroads Center is offering. With four family rooms CCC is able to accommodate several families while also accommodating other individuals in separate rooms. At max the center can have about 100 people stay a night; individuals and families combined. In contrast with the Community Crossroads Center, a similar shelter not too far away in Wilson, NC is much different. The maximum bed capacity is 20 while CCC has a maximum bed capacity of 98. The only way we can continue to keep families together in our shelter and provide such a large capacity is through your generous donations.Making a donation is simple and any amount will help make the lives of those less fortunate that much better. A simple donation of $25 can house a homeless person and feed them for a night. If money is not a viable option, a donation of some key items would be helpful as well. These items include:
